Analisis Ekonomis Pembuatan Pupuk Organik Dari Kotoran Ayam

(Studi Kasus Di Peternakan Ayam H. Mangkuto – Lintau Buo)

Abstract

1. Mangkuto chicken farm is one of the large waste-producing farm in Lintau Buo and the waste in

question is chicken manure. This waste can cause air pollution and will disturb human health, of course.

From these conditions, the researchers were inspired to process the waste into something of sale value by

processing chicken manure into organic fertilizer aerobically with low technology in the form of crumbs.

Then knowing the moisture content and PH of the organic fertilizer based on the ideal parameters of

organic fertilizer and knowing whether This business is feasible to be developed from a financial aspect

with the Break Event Point (BEP), Payback Period (PP), Net Present Value (NPV), and Internal Rate of

Return (IRR) methods. And the results obtained from this research are organic fertilizer in the form of

crumbs with a moisture content of 32.98% and a PH of 9.30 and this business is indeed feasible to be

developed from a financial aspect.
