Strategi Peningkatan Kinerja Melalui Kepemimpinan Spiritual Dan Kompetensi

Perubahan lingkungan yang ditandai dengan meningkatnya kompleksitas, globalisasi dan dinamika mengakibatkan perubahan teknologi dan pengetahuan yang semakin luas. Ada pergeseran fokus organisasi dari kegatan ekonomi murni menuju pengembangan spiritual. Keadaan tersebut menempatkan spiritualitas menjadi bagian dari sumber daya manusia (SDM) yang holistik. SDM dengan segala kompetensinya adalah aset yang sangat penting bagi organisasi, sehingga perlu dikolola dengan baik agar mampu mendukung tercapainya tujuan organisasi. Peran pemimpin dalam mengelola, mengerahkan dan mengembangkan SDM adalah sangat penting. Penelitian ini mengintegrasikan model kepemimpinan spiritual dan kompetensi untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru. Sampel responden sebanyak 40 diambil untuk dianalisis dengan pendekatan Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). Software SmartPLS 3.0 digunakan sebagai alat bantu analisis. Hasi penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan spiritual berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kompetensi. Demikian juga kepemimpinan spiritual berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja guru. Kompetensi yang dimiliki guru menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja guru. Sedang kompetensi memediasi secara parsial pengaruh kepemimpinan spiritual terhadap kinerja guru. Terkait dengan kepemimpinan spiritual, organisasi khususnya pemimpin perlu merumuskan visi secara jelas dengan mengintegrasikan nilai spiritual sebagai komponen utama dalam pengembangan karyawan dan organisasi agar tujuan organisasi tercapai.
